Nervous, hesitant, and scatterbrained, but a genuinely learned wizard. Despite his scowl, he warms quickly to other scholars and spellcasters, always eager to 'talk shop.'
Backstory
James owns Odd Stories, a bookshop specializing in fanciful fiction, with a three-story wizard's tower rising from its back. He is married to Carl. To the endless confusion of the town, it is the bookish James, not the grand-bearded Carl, who is the actual wizard.
